Religion and politics

Religion and politics were the topics of a very interesting speech by Tony Blair the other night in Chicago.  Dave and I had front row seats.  Mayor Daley was sitting five seats to our right.  Unfortunately the Mayor neglected to stick around after Mr. Blair’s speech so we could ask him why it takes 6 to 8 months to process a pothole damage claim with the city of Chicago.

If you are interested in Tony Blair’s comments on religion and politics, you can listen to the speech here.

Wow. Cool. How did you get such awesome seats?
And what an interesting topic. I’m catching up on back issues of First Things, the January issue of which has a piece about Islam that I’ve just started reading.

Couz P,

Missed the Craigslist post, as it was flagged for removal by the time I got around to looking at it.
