Recovery

Husband, Weird

Ok.  I’m starting to feel better and get back into the swing of things again.  I did go back to work last week, of course, but I didn’t win any awards for productivity.  Not that my job regularly passes out awards for anything, but you get the point.

I mostly have my voice back, and my cough is getting better every day.  I’m still tired a lot, but I’m taking it easy.

All the horrible things you hear on the news about swine flu…you should believe them.

Dave gets some major extra credit husband points for putting up with me these last couple weeks.  He has been exceptionally patient and kind.

Thanks for taking such great care of me Dave!  And thank God you didn’t get it.

  • just yesterday I got a vinatge Motobecane road bike for a 100 bucks, which isn’t bad. The price was lowered from 160 because something was wrong with it. At the bike shop the guy just turned a wrench and that bit was fixed, so i saved a bit of money. The point is that i was lucky and the woman seemed concerned about me riding it without it fixed and such, so its a plus if they’re honest about the bikes problems. I suggest that you ask about anything that has gone wrong with it, check if it’s reliable. you’d also be better off with with something fast, i suppose, if you’re going ten miles every morning. don’t trade your comfort for money: if its too small, then you could develop knee problems, which i did a few years ago . not fun.also, ask about the condition of the brakes, unless you are willing to take the biket to the shop if something is wrong with them.
